Given the tremendous unmet clinical need for a non-invasive diagnosis method for Endometriosis, ApDia has investigated a panel of biomarkers present in serum blood samples, in combination with 6 clinical variables, that have shown to be relevant to distinguish the presence of the Endometriosis. The final model results in a diagnostic kit, the EndomKit, a test renowned for its high specificity, making it a simple and accurate rule-in test for early identification of the disease, even in the presence of nonspecific symptoms.

The EndomKit combines the measurement of two serum markers (BDNF and CA125) by ELISA alongside 6 clinical variables, resulting in input for an algorithm made available online.
The kit allows automated and simultaneous measurement of up to 42 patient samples.

By providing added value in detecting cases of superficial lesions, this diagnostic tool addresses a crucial gap in current UK diagnostic capabilities.
