All you need to know about Microm as a supplier

How to place an order with us

Purchase orders can be sent to admin@microm.co.uk, if you have an account with us then we will process your order and issue an invoice when the goods are dispatched. If you need a price or you do not have an account, then please contact us via email at admin@microm.co.uk and we will help you get your products ordered.

Delivery times

We aim to ship all orders same day if received by 1 pm, we use a next-day tracked courier and if you let us have your email or mobile number you can get delivery updates including a 1-hour delivery window. If we expect a delay or the item, you have ordered is not in stock we will inform you.

Cold Shipping

We do not ship with cold packs; our products have been extensively tested to remain stable out of the refrigerator for up to 5 days at 37 degrees Celsius. Please contact us if you would like a copy of the transport statement from our manufacturer.

Product storage at Microm

Microm has several key processes that ensure your products are stored appropriately whilst in our stores. All refrigerated products are stored in a pharmacy grade refrigerator in our stores. We log daily the temperature of that refrigerator using a calibrated thermometer. we replace annually so that we can be sure it is calibrated, and the validation certificate is kept on record. In addition to the thermometer log, we also have a data logger in the refrigerator that continuously records the temperature and supplies a digital record of temperature data and is kept for audit purposes.

Traceability

Our robust traceability policy gives you peace of mind that we can track each lot number into our stores from our manufacturer, until it arrives with you the customer. Should we ever need to recall a batch or let you know which batches you have had delivered its all stored securely.
Products in quarantine – Sometimes there may be a short delay before we can ship a product that we have in stock because it is “quarantined”. This means we have it in stock but are awaiting the final quality control results to release the product from the manufacturer. Once we have that document your goods can be shipped. This process speeds up the time customers may wait for a product as we already have it here in the UK rather than it not arriving in our stores until it’s been cleared.

Third-party agreements

Third Party Agreements are held with many of the clinics we supply. If yours is due to expire or you need to start one with us, then please email us at admin@microm.co.uk and we can get one signed for you.
